Carla was at the beach... Mine is not such a sunlit place, but it's where I chose to work and it's where I feel I can contribute to a better tomorrow. Both for me and for my students.
Hi Themer! Congratulations on setting up your blog... Having only now read your first post below, I'll just say that I'm a big fan of John Lennon too.. both his music and his philosophy. But as for the great pic above... I liked the fact you chose black and white for the empty classroom.. I guess it's filled with a great diversity of bright colours when the students are in there, interacting with each other and with you! I guess if we need some alone time to concentrate on something like a blog, then an empty classroom is actually a better bet than a busy, sometimes noisy staffroom, right?
I actually have my own office where it's always quiet, but as I spend so much time on the move (airports, hotels etc) where I'm also often alone... I rather welcome having other people around!!
This is where we generally are! I also loved the black and white option. First because I love B&W photos, and also because the empty room with the color choice seems like a space of many possibilities, waiting to be filled with noise and learners, or is it another perspective from the the lonely teacher???
Hey, Themer. The black-and-white effect makes your image look very artistic. Is that one of the new classrooms at MTZ? Are the renovations all done yet? I can't wait to see what the building looks like now. Post some photos for me? Best, Alex.

Loved the editing of this picture! Maybe I could have been a little more creative with mine - haha :)
